Award looking gizmo, yet , once installed it's a great fit.
After a few days of trials and errors, I figured out how to adjust multiple points of the shoulder rest to fit my shoulder and neck (I’m using a 3cm chin rest). And it has a super light weight. Now I find it much more comfortable to practice my viola than my previous shoulder rest.

As a student and then a career violist, I've tried almost every shoulder pad and rest available. This one is unique, and for me so far, a very good solution. I believe the ideal would be to use nothing at all; but for most of us, that virtue is not practical. For me, the best compromise is a flexible rest that weighs as little as possible. The Efel achieves those requirements - at a fraction of the cost of a Korfker.
